Flowers: July-Sept. Plant in sun or part shade. HxS 50x1m
An excellent clump-forming foliage plant which varies in colour but is mainly maroon with burgundy heart-shaped centres surrounded by a green ‘V’ shape. Clusters of tiny white flowers appear in late summer. Spreads quickly to inhibit weed growth but non invasive. Can withstand temperatures down to -15c. Hardiness rating H5. Pot size 1 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back hard in early spring, removing as much of the old leaf as you can. These cuttings will root quite readily or divide in spring.
