Flowers: June-August.  Plant in moist, part shade.  HxS  80x45cm

This Globe Flower is a summer flowering Trollius, with golden yellow open flowers held above fresh green foliage. Originally from China, this is a Dutch named hybrid that requires moist shade to really perform, and looks outstanding near water.  It is pest and disease resistant, easy to grow and ultra hardy.  We find it performs well in clay or heavy soils.  AGM.  Hardiness rating H7. Pot size 1 litre.

Care & Maintenance.

Trollius die back naturally in autumn and foliage can be removed then.  Propagate in early spring by dividing the root ball which is very fibrous.  We use an old saw to cut through it.
