Description
Flowers: April-June & September. Plant in part or full shade. HxS 60x45cm
Geranium phaeum ‘Album’ is one of the G. phaeum family that is invaluable for its ability to grow in deep and dry shade for a long period, having evergreen leaves as a bonus. Native to southern and central Europe, they are excellent for woodland ground cover or the spring garden. If cut back they will flower again in September. This is the classic white flowered form of the wood geranium. Ethereal white flowers light up a dull spot in early spring. An easy and low maintenance for a shady border. Hardiness zone H7. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut hard to the ground in late autumn and mulch the crown to protect the leaf buds which can appear from late January. Propagate from seed or division of established clumps in spring or autumn.
