Astrantia ‘Roma’ is one of the best known varieties of masterwort, with its soft pink flowers from June to September, held on wiry stems above mid-green leaves. Great for fresh cut or dried flowers. It grows in any good moist soil in full sun or shady border. Will tolerate some dry areas. Easy, hardy and pest and disease resistant. The bonus is Astrantia are attractive to bees and butterflies. Hardiness rating H7. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back hard after the first flowering for a repeat show. Divide clumps in spring or collect and sow seed.
