Primula japonica ‘Apple Blossom’ is one of the loveliest candelabra primulas with multiple whorls of palest pink flowers, each having a bright crimson-red eye. It prefers a humus rich, moist soil and looks superb by water, mixed with other candelabra primulas. Deciduous with elongated leaves and a conspicuous mid-rib. Seeds itself gently. Pot size 10.5cm.
Care & Maintenance.
Deadhead to prolong flowering. Propagate by division or seeds. Benefits from an autumn mulch to protect the crown in winter wet.
