Our native Meadowsweet is a vigorous, easy-to-grow plant that is ideal for boggy areas of the garden. It will grow in ditches or beside water and has deeply veined leaflets on arching stems, with sprays of creamy-white flowers. A plant that grows unsupported with a good upright habit. Do not let plants dry out as they may become susceptible to powdery mildew. Ultra hardy. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut to the ground in autumn or winter. This is a plant that will seed about and naturalise itself. If you don’t have it and you have the right conditions it is a star.
