This is a very floriferous water avens with pendant, pink to coppery orange flowers which are slightly flared. The stems are dark red-brown. It will flower throughout the summer, if deadheaded, and will form a dense clump of foliage. It really enjoys a moist to boggy soil in cool conditions and is an excellent pollinator plant. Organically grown in peat free compost. Pot size 1 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Geums are best split every three years to maintain flower vigour. This plant can be propagated by division quite easily, at almost any time of the growing season.
