Flowers: May-June.  Plant in part shade.   HxS  60x10cm

A very attractive species of Indian Hyacinth.  It has pale wisteria blue flowers with golden stamens flower throughout June.  The grass like foliage becomes summer dormant and the whole plant has disappeared by September.  Excellent for naturalising by a pond or in grass where there is a moist soil.  At least three bulbs per pot, organically grown in peat free compost.

Care & Maintenance.

As a bulb this needs virtually no maintenance.  Remove old foliage after dormancy.  Propagate by seed or division of the bulbs at any point during dormancy.
