Description
Flowers: June-July & September. Plant in part shade. HxS 45x60cm
The flowers on this woodland cranesbill are a true blue, with a white eye. It is the bluest of all the wood cranesbills and certainly one of the best although not always easy to get hold of. Shorter in habit, it will grow in any soil and was named after the distinguished plantwoman, Amy Doncaster, who apparently had very blue eyes!
Care & Maintenance.
Cut down old foliage early in the spring, before the new flowers appear. Repeat the cut back after the first flowering for a repeat show. Spring is also the best time to divide the plants.
