Flowers: June-October. Plant in sun or part shade. HxS 75x75cm
Geranium ‘Patricia’ is another superb hybrid cranesbill from Alan Bremner in the Orkneys. It is a tall plant with large leaves and luminous bright pink-magenta flowers with a dark eye, similar to G. psilostemon but flowering for much longer without being so tall. It makes a good border plant which will take part shade and flowers over a long season. Grow it in any soil. Awarded an AGM at the 2005 RHS Geranium trial. Hardiness rating H7. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
This cranesbill is very easy to manage. Remove old overwintered leaves in spring. Propagate by division in spring. Pest and disease resistant.

This is my favourite hardy geranium as it is such a brilliant colour and so long-flowering. It’s not too ‘leggy’ but it does like to share the space with other plants. I bought two ‘Patricia’ plants from Penlan two years ago and they have done very well – I planted one in the ground and one in a chimney pot, and both seem happy in their respective locations.

Nice plant looks good and healthy, looking forward to seeing it flower next year. Great service. Thanks

All should throw a few flowers this year as we cut them back so they re-bloom quite quickly!
