Lychnis flos-cuculi ‘Petit Henri’ is a shaggy, double-flowered variety of ‘Ragged Robin’ with masses of white flowers in late spring into early autumn. The flower base petals are dark maroon as are the stems which appear above a mound of grey-green foliage. Very attractive to butterflies, moths and other pollinators. Ideal naturalising among short grasses in meadows or cottage gardens or alongside a stream. Happy in moist but free-draining soil. Pot size 9cm.
Care & Maintenance.
Remove old foliage in spring and split plants every three or four years to maintain vigour. Lychnis can be divided after flowering or collect and sow seed. Dead head after flowering for a repeat show.
