Description
Flowers: June-October. Plant in part shade or woodland. HxS 45x45cm
A shade tolerant hardy cranesbill, with masses of dark glossy leaves and abundant dark lilac-purple flowers which have a pale edge, like G. nodosum ‘Whiteleaf’. This French introduction may be a similar cross, but does not have such defined edging. It flowers all summer and is dry shade tolerant once established. Fairly evergreen in all but harsh winters. One of the few plants that will flower under established trees like beech. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back to the ground in spring. Divide in spring. Water well until established if planting in dry shade.
