Description
Flowers: May to late August. Plant in sun or part shade. HxS 45x45cm
This Cranesbill is probably a hybrid of Geranium platypetalum and as such is ultra hardy. It has a low growing habit and grows in most soils. The flowers are a rich blue and are cupped in appearance, with darker veining. After flowering all summer the leaves turn an attractive red in autumn. Herbaceous in habit, it makes excellent weed-suppressing ground cover. Easy, being pest and disease resistant. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Deadhead to promote flowering. Divide every four or five years to stimulate the plant. It has not set seed for us so may be sterile.
