Description
Flowers: June-October. Plant in sun. HxS 30x90cm
Geranium x riversleaianum ‘Russell Prichard’, one of my favourite cranesbill, produces low spreading mats of silky, grey-green leaves which are covered with vivid reddish-purple flowers all summer. It is best grown in full sun at the front of a border. It also makes good ground cover and tolerates dry soil so is great on banks or walls. Slug and snail proof. Semi-evergreen in milder winters. AGM. Hardiness rating H4. Pot size 9cm.
Care & Maintenance.
If you live in an area of high winter rainfall, as we do, it is beneficial to mulch the crown of the plant during winter. Propagate using stem cuttings.
