Formerly called Helleborus corsicus, <\/em>this hellebore has flowers the colour of a ‘Granny Smith’ apple, on a large plant with prickly evergreen foliage.\u00a0 Commonly known as the holly leaved hellebore, the flowers dangle in large clusters.\u00a0 The flowers appear in winter and remain in good condition through to late spring.\u00a0 Forms a good clump over time.\u00a0 It grows best in moist, fertile soil. AGM.\u00a0 Hardiness rating H5. Pot size 9cm.<\/p>\n

Care & Maintenance.<\/p>\n

Like all hellebores they do resent being moved so plant carefully.\u00a0 Propagate by seed as soon as it is ripe but wear gloves as the seeds can be an irritant.\u00a0 Tidy damaged leaves in late autumn before flowering.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
