Flowers: April-July. Plant in part or full shade. HxS 30x40cm
An introduction which has large clusters of raspberry-pink flowers on a mound of silver spotted, dark green leaves. One of the features of this lungwort is the long flowering season. It is a good colour break from the normal pinky-blue hybrids. Suitable for the front of a shady border or as ground cover in the dappled shade of deciduous trees and shrubs, with Hellebores, Hostas, Epimediums, Brunneras and Ferns, in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil. Pot size 1.5 litre. Hardiness rating H7.
Care & Maintenance
Cut back after flowering and mulch with leaf mould or compost to promote fresh new growth which will remain evergreen through to the following spring. Propagate by division in spring or autumn.
