Description
Flowers: July-November. Plant in sun or part shade. HxS 2mx60cm
Molinia ‘Karl Foerster’, also known as Purple Moor Grass has tall, airy panicles of flowers, held above the leaves, through summer and autumn. The flower plumes turn from dark red to purple as the season progresses and the winter foliage turns butter yellow, giving fantastic shape and colour in frosty weather. One of the better cultivars, giving slender architectural form to the border. A great see-through plant, associating well with plants like Verbena bonariensis. Hardiness H7. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back as the foliage starts to collapse in early spring. Established clumps can be divided at this time.
