Flowers: May-August.  Plant in part shade.  HxS 50x50cm

A compact, clump-forming perennial known as ‘bastard balm’ and from the mint family. Scallop-edged leaves which, along with the stems, are covered in hairs and are honey scented. Dark purple and white lipped, orchid-like flowers, appear in late spring and early summer. Prefers a moist soil in part shade. Hardiness rating H6. Pot size 1.5 litre.

Care & Maintenance.

Propagate by division. Cut back after flowering.
