Flowers: June-August. Plant in part shade. HxS 1mx75cm
The common name of Gooseneck is very apt for the flowering stems which are elegant, slender arching spikes of white flowers, held above a bushy clump of dark green leaves. The flowers are borne all summer on a plant which spreads, but not invasively. The leaves turn a gorgeous bright red in autumn before the plant dies completely back. A mecca for butterflies by day and moths at night. Place in part shade. Dry shade tolerant once established. Organically grown in peat free compost. Pot size 1.5 litre. Hardienss zone H7.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back to the ground in autumn or early spring. Propagate by collecting seed or from softwood cuttings in June (from non-flowering stems if you can find them!)SKU: LYSCLE
