Description
Flowers: August-September. Plant in part shade or full shade. HxS 40x60cm
Unlike the other forms of Hakonechloa the green foliage of ‘Nicolas’ takes on a beautiful autumn colour before it dies back, becoming flushed with orange or red, although you may have to wait for it to mature to have this display. Looks most effective when planted in drifts. Hardiness zone H7. Pot size 9cm.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back hard in early spring to make room for new growth and is also a good time to divide established plants.
