Description
Flowers: April-May. Plant in part shade or woodland. HxS 25x25cm
This is a compact species which is slow growing but makes excellent ground cover. New growth appears each spring and the pure white flowers appear above mid green leaves. It requires a sheltered, shady site to flower well. Seeds gently but not invasively and is deciduous in habit. Hardiness rating H5. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut down old foliage early in the spring, before the new flowers appear. Spring is also the best time to divide the plants. Full sun has a tendency to scorch the leaves, so avoid it when planting.
