Flowers: August-September. Plant in sun. HxS 45x45cm
This lovely native marginal has purple-centred, white flowers, held above glossy arrow shaped foliage. It is best planted on a marginal shelf with 15-20cm of water over the foliage. Bulbs will appear around the planting basket to produce next year’s flowers so you may need to split and repot every two years, or simply detach these and repot them. A great plant for bees, hoverflies and butterflies, when in flower.
Care & Maintenance.
Plant as a marginal in the aquatic basket provided. Can be propagated by splitting bulbils or by seed. Tidy old foliage in autumn as the plant dies back.SKU: SAGSAG
