Flowers: May-July. Plant in sun or light shade. HxS 60x45cm
This primula is a hybrid between Primula beesiana and Primula bulleyana. It is bold and vigorous with a succession of flowers in varying shades of yellow, orange, red, pink or violet. It grows best in moisture retentive soil or boggy ground and stays fairly evergreen here in Wales during mild winters.
Care & Maintenance.
Very hardy and reliable. It does not seed true so divide after flowering to make new plants. Remove old foliage in spring. Seedlings usually revert to either of the parents so are a bonus.
