Flowers: July-September. Plant in sun and boggy soil. HxS 75x30cm
The dark red foliage appears in spring and is interesting in its own right, however the terminal flower spikes, appearing throughout summer are spectacular, being a bright cardinal red. It requires moist to boggy soil and is excellent in the bog garden or as a pond marginal. Organically grown in peat free compost and makes a good cut-flower too..
Care and Maintenance.
Plant in groups for effect. Tidy old foliage in autumn. Propagates very easlily in autumn by division, or you can take cuttings or collect and sow seed. Plants may not be long lived – we find three years is about the most you might expect.SKU: LOBQVI
