Flowers: July-August. Plant in sun or light shade. HxS 60x45cm
Sammy produces masses of small burgundy-red trumpet flowers, freely borne on arching stems during the summer. This variety has a compact habit making it suitable for the smaller garden and is ideal in a sunny border or beside a small pond. Best grown in a moist, humus rich soil. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Clear the old foliage in late autumn, winter or early spring as the new shoots of Hemerocallis are amongst the first to appear in spring. The clumps are easily split as they start to come through. Many Hemerocallis set seed, but only the species plants will come true. Clumps should be split every four or five years so they maintain vigour.SKU: HEMSRU
