Description
Flowers: April-Sept. Plant in sun or part shade. HxS 60x60cm
Geum chiloense ‘Blazing Sunset’ is a beautiful, long-flowering Geum with fully double, scarlet flowers that tower above fresh, green foliage. One of our favourites here at Penlan. Vigorous but compact and makes an excellent cut flower. Dead head regularly to promote more blooms and cut back old stems after flowering. Prefers a moist soil. Hardiness zone H7. Pot size 1.4 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Divide plants in early spring or early autumn. Geum are best divided every four or so years as the centre of the plant may begin to become exposed and weaken.
