Flowers: June-Sept. Plant in part shade and moist soil. HxS 60x50cm
Astilbe ‘Deutschland’, or false goat’s beard, produces pure white flowers over soft, glossy, divided foliage. Prefers part shade in constantly moist soil. Hardiness rating H7. Pot size 1.5/2 litre.
Care and Maintenance.
Cut back hard to the ground in early spring before the new growth starts. Plants can be propagated by division at this time and either potted or planted directly into the ground. Deadheading helps to promote new flower spikes.
