Description
Flowers: April-May & September. Plant in part or full shade. HxS 45x60cm
A lovely shade cranesbill, a cross hybrid between Geranium phaeum x Geranium reflexum. You know winter is over when you see the leaves appear! They are pale yellowy-green in spring, with lovely brown mottling. The flowers are reflexed and dark purple-brown in colour, both early and late if cut back. This is easy to grow, semi-evergreen and pest and disease resistant. It also performs well in dry shade once established. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Remove the old foliage in early spring. This is also the best time to propagate the plant by careful division of the rhizome.
