Flowers: July-September. Plant in sun. HxS 60x60cm
Later flowering than many G. pratense forms, this old favourite has double, rich violet flowers with a dark centre. The petals are cupped giving a rosette appearance and the double forms are sterile, so have to be propagated by division. The plant makes a compact bowl of flowers, but is slow to establish. It is much happier in the ground than in pots so plant as soon as you can. Hardiness rating H7. Organically grown in peat free compost. Pot size 1.5litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Collapses in late autumn and old foliage can then be removed. Established clumps can be divided in autumn or spring. Sterile.SKU: GERPVI
