Flowers: May-July.  Plant in sun or part shade.  HxS 60x60cm

Beautiful, large, lavender blue flowers on a free flowering plant with open flowers.  These are carried on wiry stems above a
dense mound of deeply divided, frilly leaves.  Formerly in the species clarkei, it is now listed as a hybrid and will repeat flower in early autumn if cut back.  Easy to grow for the herbaceous border and adds blue to the popular, white, pink and purple hybrids.  Organically grown in peat free compost.  Pot size 1.5 litre / 9cm.  Hardiness zone H7.

Care & Maintenance.

Cut back hard in spring, which is the best time to propagate by division.
