Does not flower.  Plant in light, part or full shade.  HxS 60x60cm

Polystichum braunii is a lovely Shield Fern with narrow, lance-shaped and very divided, glossy fronds of a bright green.  It is lime tolerant, although preferring a neutral to acid soil.  The rachis and stipe are well covered with pale brown scales and the fern is evergreen and ultra hardy.  Pot size 1.5 litre.

Care & Maintenance.

Remove old or tatty fronds in spring.  Propagate from spores or very careful division.
