Flowers: June-Sept. Plant in full sun. HxS 2mx1m
A strong growing sunflower up to 2m tall with dark green foliage and light yellow flowers. Great at the back of a border and ideal as a cut flower. May need staking and needs a long hot summer to flower well. Prefers alkaline, neutral soil which is moist but well-drained. Hardiness H4. Pot size 1.5 litre.

Divide in spring or autumn or collect seed.

Gorgeous. Grew 5-6 feet in its first year after planting in April. Absolutely humming with bees. So many flowers. Didn’t need staking either. Growing well in my clay soil with lots of added compost.
