An extremely vigorous climber that needs tying in and pinching back to keep in check! Small crimson and dark-purple flowers are produced from June to September. Bred from a Brazilian species in 1939 and named after the founder of the British Fuchsia Society. Hardiness H4. Pot size 1.5 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Propagate by softwood cuttings in early summer or semi-hardwood cuttings in mid-summer. Provide a deep winter mulch and shelter from cold winds.
