Geranium renardii is a very distinctive cranesbill with crinkled, sage-like leaves, forming a good hummock.  The flowers are veined greyish-white in early summer and the plant grows well on poor soils which do not dry out in summer.  Plants in light shade seem to flower more profusely than those planted in full sun.  It is evergreen in all but the hardest winters.  AGM.  Hardiness rating H5. Pot size 1.5 litre.

Care & Maintenance.

This cranesbill is very easy to manage.  Remove old overwintered leaves in spring, tidying up any damaged by winter weather.  Propagate by division in spring or collect and sow seeds.  Pest and disease resistant.
