Thalictrum delavayi 'Hewitt's Double'
£4.95
Common Name: Meadow Rue
Flowering Period: July-September
UK Native? No - garden origin
Pot Size: 2 litre
The Royal Horticultural Societys Award of Garden Merit (AGM)

(7-9 part shade) 1mx75cm

This late flowering Thalictrum enjoys a cool, moist soil and is peat tolerant, although just as happy in neutral or alkaline soil. The petaloid stamens give the lilac-purple flowers a double effect and they resemble airy clouds of Gypsophila in August. The foliage is rue-like and compact emerging in early spring from the rhizotomous rootstock. Every woodland garden should have one!

What wonderful service! Im delighted with (a) your online site which is beautifully set out and so easy to negotiate (b) the speed with which my order was dealt with and confirmed (c) the delivery service which I was checking on the computer, when the door bell went (9.45am) and there were the plants! and lastly the wonderful packing and condition of the plants. First class service and to be recommended. Very many thanks. MP, Newcastle on Tyne (March 2008)
