UK ORDERING  
This site complies with the EU Distance Selling Regulations 2000
All online orders and payments are acknowledged by email and we normally dispatch parcels quickly, usually within a day or two of receiving your order. All plants on the site are in stock. Our courier will deliver by NEXT DAY service. We can deliver plants as a gift on your behalf, or to a neighbour or your place of work. OUR COURIER USUALLY REQUIRES A SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY. Where delivery is required without a signature we can leave the parcel in a safe place however our insurance is invalid in these circumstances and therefore we accept no liability once a parcel has left the nursery if it is not signed for.

United Kingdom (by telephone, fax, email, post or collection at the nursery)
We understand that you may prefer to pay by cheque or bank draft (you can still order online and use the pay by cheque option at checkout). Alternatively our home page has a facility to download a free catalogue, order form and ordering instructions. We also accept orders by telephone or fax (with a debit or credit card). Orders can be collected from the nursery by arrangement and we reimburse any shipping charges.

CARRIAGE CHARGES

UK Zone 1 ~ England, Wales and Southern Scotland
Delivery by overnight courier. Parcels are insured and your plants are delivered the next working day. Normally a signature is required (see above). Small orders may be sent using Royal Mail First Class. 

Delivery cost: £7.95 (1-6 plants) £10.95 (7-15 plants) Additional plants 75p

UK Zones 2 and 3 ~ Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle Of Man, Isle of Wight
Courier charges are expensive so we use Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service. Most parcels take 3-4 days and the service is usually reliable but sometimes parcels can take longer and therefore we offer no guarantees or warranties with this service as Royal Mail offers no compensation for consequential loss. We usually post on a Monday and no signature is required on delivery.

You will be prompted to ask for a shipping quote when ordering. This is weight based.

WARRANTIES and RETURNS
We believe all plants sent out by us are true to name and every effort is made to ensure they are of the best quality. We offer no warranty as to description, quality or any other matter. Due to poor planting conditions, unfavourable weather or neglect, plants will fail and therefore we will only consider complaints made within seven days of receiving the plants. On receipt plants should be unpacked and inspected. If the plants are damaged or are unacceptable to you please contact us. We will always endeavour to resolve any complaint quickly and to your satisfaction, by replacing plants or offering a refund. We may ask for the plants to be returned, in which case we will refund the return postage. Nothing in this statement should be construed as a change to your statutory rights as a consumer.

ORDER CANCELLATION 
You may cancel your order up to the day prior to dispatch. The dispatch date will be the date notified in our email acknowledgement of your order.  If you decide to cancel your order you must notify us by email. We will refund any monies you have paid to us less a 5% administration charge which we will make to cover the credit card charges deducted from your payment by WorldPay and our own administrative costs.

SUBSTITUTES
No substitutes are offered if we do not have a particular plant. We try to keep stock levels on the website accurate but if for any reason we cannot supply a plant you have paid for we will make an immediate refund and let you know.

PRICES
Prices in this catalogue are for well grown 1.5 litre (15cm/6") pot size, except where stated in the plant descriptions. In the spring or autumn we may send bare-root plants, divisions or dormant bulbs or tubers. In order to offer a year round service and speedy delivery we cannot always guarantee that plants have not been recently propagated, but will always tell you on the packing slip if this is the case.

EUROPEAN (EU) ORDERING

You may view € euro prices by clicking on the currency box on the home page. We accept payment in Euros by all major credit and debit cards.

Carriage by our European Carrier is charged at cost and includes insurance and tax. Smaller parcels (under 2kg) are sent by airmail using Royal Mail at cost. When you reach the checkout you will open an account with us. If you are not resident in the UK we will email you a shipping quotation. When you receive this you may proceed with your order or cancel it. All orders and payments are acknowledged and we normally dispatch parcels within a day or two of receiving your payment. We can deliver to your home or place of work and you may need to sign for the parcel on arrival. We will email you upon dispatch with an order tracking number, where there is one, so you can watch the progress of your parcel. An invoice marked paid will be included in the document envelope on your parcel. Delivery varies according to your location. If you do not wish to pay online we accept orders placed with a credit card by telephone or fax (please do not e-mail any credit card details). You can also email an order to us for a quotation.
