Flowers from late May to August. Plant in sun or part shade as a marginal or in boggy ground. HxS  60x60cm

Broad glossy leaves with handsome yellow buttercup-like flowers up to 5cm/2in across. Native to the UK and good for covering unsightly liners at the edges of ponds, although equally happy on banks or in wet meadows or bogs. It has a creeping habit and roots at nodes so is easily controlled. Planting depth in water to 15cm/6".

Care and maintenance
Tidy up old foliage in early spring. Propagate by division, pulling apart the clumps. Sow seed fresh in autumn. Easy and reliable, with no pests or diseases.
