Description

Flowers: April-June.  Plant in light or part shade.  HxS 60x60cm

This is the white flowered form of the versatile north American cranesbill, Geranium maculatum.  It has a tall, upright habit with massed clusters of pure white flowers in early spring.  The rich, dark green leaves emerge early from nobbly rhizomes which like to be near the surface.  The plant performs best in a moisture retentive soil and looks good in a shady spot by water and is one of the best white-flowered geraniums.  It will take sun if the soil is very moist.

Care & Maintenance.

Will repeat flower in September if cut back hard in June.  Propagate by division in spring or collect seed.  Pest and disease resistant.
