A Scottish selection, much shorter in habit than other cultivars. Leaves are narrow and the dark red flowers are held well clear of the foliage. Can flower on into November so extends the season in the garden. Easy and enjoys a moist soil in sun. Excellent plant by water and attracts bees and lacewings.
