The Fringed Water Lily is a deciduous perennial with floating, small, heart shaped mid-green leaves. These are often lightly spotted and splashed with brown. Fringed yellow flowers, 3-4cm across are produced all summer on stems which stand clear of the water. The roots form a tangled mass so it is best planted in an aquatic pot and contained. For medium to large ponds only and not suited to small ponds or water features. Native and herbaceous in habit. Planting depth: to 45cm/18" |
