A hardy, reliable and easy grass which prefers a damp, acid soil. Tall yellow stems carry purple spikelets above cream variegated leaves. Much shorter than some forms making it ideal for the smaller garden.

Im writing to say thank you for the three packages with pond plants which you have sent over the last few weeks, all beautifully packed. And for the note with the third box pointing out that there were dragonfly larvae on the hornwort, so the black bag should be emptied completely over the pond: very thoughtful of you!
