Long pinnate fronds form on this architectural fern which will grow in sun as well as shade provided the soil is moist. The non-fertile fronds arch towards the ground while the fertile ones stand erect in the centre of the plant. Deciduous and happily cam through -15C in 2010 although some feel it is tender!! Grow it and know it - a great plant for associating with other ferns, bamboos or tree ferns.
