Easily distinguished from Solomon's Seal by the terminal flower bracts. Has a good vertical habit with clustered white flowers held above the glossy green foliage in late spring. These are followed by round green fruits which turn red in late summer. An easy herbaceous perennial for a shady spot. Dry soil tolerant once established.
