This New Zealand native is low growing and alpine in habit so best for the front of border, rockery or scree bed. The small white flowers, 1cm across are profuse and look effective set against the dark brown leaves. Seeds moderately but not invasively. Enjoys sharp drainage. Just cut back to crown rosette in spring.
