A lovely dwarf, well behaved form with dark green spikes which are horizontally banded in black. Will grow in mud or shallow water to 10cm/4" deep and is not invasive. Often used as a cut leaf by florists. Easy, evergreen interest, even in small pools. Great as a natural scourer when out camping!
